چکیده

Considering the future development in vehicle platooning technology and multiple models pertaining to complex road environments involving freight cars general vehicles, speed distance of a model were set as variables this study. This study aimed at analyzing effect currents acting differently using SolidWorks Flow Simulation tool for between different trucks that are currently being studied actively sports utility (SUV) whose market share has been increasing, order evaluate changes drag coefficient their causes. Additionally, purpose-based (PBV) presented by Hyundai Motor (Ulsan, Korea) during CES 2020 was considered. In study, we found shape rear side leading reduces following washing wake, similar spoiler rear. The area forms wide range low pressures, which increases vehicle. overall height also generates distribution pressures above impact on front enables wake vehicle, involves inhibit Bernoulli Furthermore, continues be affected resulting an increase reduction.

Vehicle-to-vehicle communication for AVCS platooning

Vehicle-to-vehicle radio links suffer from power variations, multipath fading and associated Doppler spreading in frequency, as well as interference form other vehicles. These effects are investigated in the context of an Automated Vehicle Control Systems (AVCS) employing vehicle platoons. A statistical model for the channel is considered and the performance of the network involving many links ...

Tank and Linnartz : Vehicle - to - Vehicle Communications for Avcs Platooning

Vehicle-to-vehicle radio links suffer from multipath fading and interference from other vehicles. We discuss the impact of these effects on communication networks supporting an intelligent transportation system (ITS), in particular, automated vehicle control systems (AVCS’s). A statistical model for this channel is considered, and the performance of the network involving many links is evaluated...

The Effects of Thin-Walled Structure on Vehicle Occupants’ Safety and Vehicle Crashworthiness

This article investigates the effects of using a thin-walled structure in the chassis front rails in the automotive industry. In frontal accidents, the front rails of the vehicle chassis, increases vehicle crash-worthiness and occupants’ safety by plastic deformation, energy absorption, increasing the crash duration and reducing the load and injuries to the occupants. The objective is to ...

Heavy-Duty Vehicle Platooning – Modeling and Analysis

Coupled with the growth of world economy, the demand of freight transport has escalated and will continue to do so. As the traffic intensity increases, the pressure on infrastructure, energy usage and environment becomes higher than ever. Meanwhile, the number of traffic accidents is also increasing year by year as a result. Heavy-duty vehicle (HDV) platooning makes a group of HDVs driving clos...

Formal Verification of Autonomous Vehicle Platooning

The coordination of multiple autonomous vehicles into convoys or platoons is expected on our highways in the near future. However, before such platoons can be deployed, the new autonomous behaviours of the vehicles in these platoons must be certified. An appropriate representation for vehicle platooning is as a multiagent system in which each agent captures the “autonomous decisions” carried ou...
